How will residential pricing work?

Per gigabyte, on a sliding scale from $1.99/GB down to $0.99/GB as your monthly usage grows. There's no per-IP commitment — you pay only for the data you move.

What's the difference between sticky and rotating sessions?

Rotating sessions assign a new IP for each request — best for one-off requests where diversity matters. Sticky sessions hold the same IP for up to 30 minutes — best for multi-step workflows like form submissions or shopping carts.

Will I be able to target a specific state or city?

State targeting will be available for the United States at launch. City-level targeting is on the roadmap and will follow.

What should I use until residential is available?

ISP proxies are the closest match — they're residential-grade IPs that read as home connections, just billed per IP instead of per GB. For high-volume jobs where the target doesn't block server IPs, datacenter proxies are cheaper and faster.

What's planned

When they launch, residential will be billed per gigabyte rather than per IP, so you only pay for the data you move — with a fresh rotating IP per request, or a sticky IP held for up to 30 minutes. Country, state, and city targeting are planned, with state-level targeting for the United States at launch.

Residential vs. datacenter vs. ISP — which will fit your job

Residential proxies are the most authentic and the most expensive of the three, and they'll be billed per gigabyte rather than per IP. Datacenter proxies are the fastest and cheapest, billed per IP — best when the target doesn't aggressively block server ranges. ISP proxies sit in between: residential-grade IPs at datacenter speed, billed per IP. Until residential goes live, ISP is the closest substitute — it carries residential legitimacy without the per-GB billing.
